Dr. Johnson is the National VP of Sales for Edustructures. His entire career has been involved with educational technology solutions. In 1983 he began working for WICAT, one of the first companies focused exclusively on K-12 technology solutions. He then joined IBM and was on the original PC/AT announcement team in Boca Raton, FL. During the subsequent ten years he worked in various educational capacities within IBM at both a headquarters and field level. At headquarters (IBM Educational Systems) he was responsible for requirements and marketing support for workstations, networks, and operating systems. In the field he was a K-12 Consulting Marketing Representative and Marketing Manager. Following IBM he worked for J.D. Edwards as a western area Account Executive in the Education/Public Sector. He then worked for NetSchools as a Regional Manager and ultimately as the National Sales Director for Orion, an ASP-based formative assessment solution. He also worked for The Princeton Review as a Regional Sales Director and for Wireless Generation as a Regional Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Edustructures he was the National Vice President of Sales for Class.com. He received his Ph.D. in Instructional Science & Technology from Brigham Young University.
